I recently visited USA and discovered this medicine. My friend uses it once a week in emergency situations. Is it available anywhere in Europe and does anybody know if we can get it?

It cost 400$ for 30 doses. My experience you will get the same benefit chewing a levodopa tablet as you get sucking one of these

It works for fast relief if you're off for what ever reason, I stopped it, it would leave my lungs with burning sensation and irritated my upper restpatory three times so I stopped, it's worth trying, it's no fun inhaling dopamine powder.

I agree with Roy. I tried it several times and found it to be not much better than a pill and very expensive. But like everything else with PD it might work better for you.

In the UK I know a few people who find Madopar Dispersible very good. Obviously as the tablet is dissolvable it works much faster and is designed as a rescue med rather than a maintenance one.

I was put on dispersible Madopar along with Rasagiline by my UK prof of neurology from day one as my main med. The Madopar generally kicks in in about an hour.
