There's a lot of interest here in the use and benefits of probiotics. I ran into this article from 2009 while researching the topic. It's informative and entertaining.

The author is an infectious disease specialist.

Probiotics are an important supplement (Pill) or through Fermented Foods (ie Sauerkraut) to help support the gut. Antibiotics destroy bad bacteria and good bacteria in the gut, once the prescription is done, the only bacteria that return to the gut are bad, leading to other ailments that no one would connect with the gut being out of balance. I found an Organic Coconut Yogurt as a replacement to dairy Yogurt. Take the health of your gut Seriously.
