Parkinson’s disease is a complex, multi-system neurodegenerative disorder. In addition to the motor symptoms, the non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease such as emotional disorder, cognitive deterioration and chronic pain are gaining more and more clinical attention.1 Different forms of pain are common in 30–95% of patients with Parkinson’s disease, including acute pain and chronic pain.2,3 Pain exists from early to late stage of Parkinson’s disease and has an impact on the quality of life.
