Raynaud’s Disease and Keto Diet update

I’ve been experimenting with deliberately challenging myself with low temperatures . This morning I walked 10 minutes to the local shop for some eggs, wearing short sleeves and no hat (and no hair!) in 11C. The walk back was COLD as I got soaked by steady rain with a temperature of probably 5C or less. I’m delighted to report that I actually enjoyed the experience, particularly as I had NO RAYNAUD’S with my hands staying a comfortable pink colour throughout. This is I am sure a consequence of being on a Keto i.e. LCHF Diet for about 15 weeks. Having had Raynaud’s for over 30 years that is quite remarkable. In other news, my tremor from Parkinson’s Disease continues to gradually improve after 3 months OFF ALL MEDS after 7 years on Ropinirole and Sinemet

Phil. How long did it take for you to realise that you were onto something with Keto? Also, out of curiosity, did you suffer much bradykenesja and if so has this been alleviated?

If you click on my pic it should take you to all my posts re Keto Diet - it was pretty fast though, especially regarding the reduction in my back pain.

I am a bit slow, but find Squash therapeutic, also walking quickly...

As regards dairy and Keto, I buy goat butter which is delicious and get through lots in Keto Coffee. I avoid dairy, but find cheese is fine.

Starting my first fast today to see if the autophagy works for me ;-)
