It is not a cure. It works for me as well as Sinemet. Have been following it for upwards of 2 years.

The PROS:

a) no dyskinesias so far ( I was dx'd 4 years ago, when I was 66 YO),

b) no wearing off (i.e., loss of effectiveness) so far,

c) available through telemedicine (remotely) anywhere in the world--no visits to doctor's office needed.

The CONS:

a) pricey ( about $500/month--not covered by insurance),

b) a dose only lasts about 3.5 hours,

c) taking the meds--weighing out powders, etc.--is slightly more involved than simply popping a few pills, and takes me about 10-15 minutes,

d) the learning curve for this protocol is steep, so make sure you find a well-trained, experienced, competent provider. Do not try a do-it-yourself approach.

Among others, HarleyBob08 has also posted reports on this site of his positive experiences. Find him via the Search button at upper right.

Yes, good results. Not perfect, but holding steady with only nominal symptoms. Hopefully no harm being done to my body.

Ongoing med costs around £80 per month, due to the use of 100% Mucuna LDopa. Never been on conventionals, believe Carbidopa to be dangerous.

Intend trying chrisbeatcancer.com as it should work for most diseases.

I'm on a small amount of 98% levodopa. I take cysreplete and neuroreplete however I give up on l-tyrosine by itself. It's raise my blood pressure astronomically I think I must be allergic to it. Have you heard of it before and what can be done about it. Thanks for your answer

Haven't heard of any Tyrosene problems, but then, I never check BP. If I remember, Tyrosene contributes to the dopa. I take 4G per day.

LDopa should be in the range 2 - 7 G/day, but that would be with Tyrosene.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Reagards.
