Garmin watch

Who has a Garmin watch? Would you recommend one? Worth the money?

Yes, defo - got the forerunner 110 and I love it (bought it after 2 of my friends got one and kept going on how wonderful they were)!

Garmins do look lovely, and having seen one in the flesh they are wonderful, however...

If you have an iphone/android you might want to hold out a few months for a pebble (it's coming out around September). It's an open source watch which basically tracks everything from your phone including gps, speed, calories and also vibrates to show you email/text/phone/facebook/twitter etc alerts as well as works as an mp3 player where you can control your music wireless from your wrist. Considering it is also open source, it won't be long until you'll be able to get a variety of things on it from coders around the world- it'll have it's own 'app store' style thing. It's a smaller design as well if you're female as the garmins can be a bit bulky.

Forerunner 110 in pink and grey. Is fine for simple stuff and makes nice graphs!!
