Felt tired this morning and just not in the mood but made myself get up at 6 and although I managed to finish the 2 x 10 mins it was really hard going. My breathing was ok but my calves burned like they haven't done since Week 3 and I just wanted it to end! I know it was just a bad run but I must say I'm not looking forward to Wednesday's 25 minute run with no stopping!

Well done you for doing it when not in the mood though, hard going is allowed - we do all have bad runs. I had a bad run on the 20 minute one, but I've just finished week 6 and did the 25 minutes without too much trouble - hard yes, but I still did it. You've had a bad run so chances are your next one Wednesday will be much better! Keep up the good work!

There doesn't always seem to be much logic as to which runs seem hardest so you'll probably be fine next time, I'm sure. I'll be trying W6R2 tomorrow and expect to find it challenging as I cycled 8 miles to work today ;-/
