Today is my 62nd birthday and by happy co-incidence (well, with a bit of managing it) I've done my first Week 9 run. Let's just play that again. I've just run for 30 mins, without interruption. That's 30 mins, & 5K. On the pace!! Am I pleased? Yay!!!!!!!!!!!
When I started, in early January, I hadn't run for 45 years and struggled to run the 1 min sessions in wk 1. But ya just gotta keep at it. Couldn't have done it without Laura though. These podcasts, even You & Julie, are brilliant.
What next? Up the pace? 10K? Too right. I actually feel that I could do 10K now but I'll ease up to it. I do feel like a runner now.
