Week 8 done πŸ‘

Next week the full 30 mins, hooray with a little trepidation!

How hard can it be those extra 2 mins? Judging by the extra 3 from W7 to W8 hard but do'able.

Best thing about this week is improving pace and times, I know C25K is not about pace or time but I'm please to be able to go further in my 28 mins without apparently pushing it.

To all those starting the journey.... Go for It! Week 1 the thought of running 5 mins seemed daunting now on the cusp of graduation I'm really impressed with the program, the great info on this forum and the encouragement I've taken from it.

Thanks all I'll keep you posted.

Well done to you... ! If it feels hard , then it is usually because we are pushing a tad too much, even of we don't realise it...

For many of us, following this great plan... the weeks moving on from Week 6 are not about improving time and pace, but about relaxing into the longer times of running in order to be ready for the lovely 30 minutes. Speed and distance evolve after Graduation.. the more we do, the more we cover and the faster ( sometimes( we get.

We are all so wonderfully different and take our own delights in our running, and if you are running at that lovely conversational pace and feeling comfortable that is just fine. Just do take care not to try too hard.. yes, I am an old worrier, but I would not like you to get this far and have any set backs!

Thanks Oldfloss, you are most likely correct, I definitely went too fast at the start on the last run. I've a tendency to do this and usually manage to control it, when I don't I suffer for It.Definitely need a couple of days and light duties before W9.

Must remember slow and conversational at the start, I don't tend to get faster as the run goes on :-)
