I’m not new to Health Unlocked but didn’t realise C25k was here. I’m doing Wk4 run 3 today. I’ve starting this about 100 times over the years and this is the furthest I’ve got so fingers crossed!

Welcome and well done for reaching out. This is such a welcoming community and there's lots of good advice posted already. Like some others, I am through 5k and moving onwards.

A couple of things - C25K doesn't necessarily mean you'll run 5k in 30 minutes. Most don't get to do this, but reach 5k in 30+ minutes soon after. Running for 30 minutes is an incredible undertaking, so - 🙌

Coming as far as you have is absolutely awesome and don't underestimate the significance of the achievement and the long-term health benefits of what you are doing.

For me the very first run was the key. Even weeks before it, there's no way I could have run for a whole minute and 30 minutes seemed an impossible dream. But it is a beautifully organised programme and that 30 minutes really is achievable.

Good luck & keep us posted!
