Hi, I've not been on here in many years, it's changed a lot. I'm just restarting c25k this week. I've done it twice before but life.. has always got in the way once I've completed it. So I give up running once I'm done. So here I am third time lucky. Hopefully this time I will stick with it after the programme is finished. Made a wee plan for myself. Anyway a long way off there. Starting back at week 1. Bought myself some new trainers. Here we go again. Wish me luck.

P.s.. it never gets easier no matter how, any times you do the programme lol it still always feels like I've never ran before in my life lol

๐Ÿ๐Ÿค— we are pleased to welcome you back to C25K and our forum. If you keep letting us know how itโ€™s going we will help and encourage you to get to graduation more easily this time and to enjoy the journey. Thatโ€™s the secret. If you donโ€™t enjoy it you will just stop. Well the first positive is, the shiny new trainers. Pick yourself 3 days this week and get 1:1 under your belt. The first tip is to run really slowly so you donโ€™t get out of breath at all, so you can hold a conversation, so you can look around and enjoy what you can see, smell and feel.

Have fun and let us know how it goes!!

Thank you for the welcome back. Just done my first run. In a muddy field because the road was icy. Was fun splashing in the mud. "Ruining" my new trainers ๐Ÿ˜„ such a big kid.

Welcome back! We have loads and loads of repeaters here for all sorts of reasons. Youโ€™re in great company. Youโ€™ve got that experience which will stand you in great stead. Glad you got your trainers dirty! Running trainers should not be clean!!!

Thank you so much. I hope so. Its still hard even though ive done it before. Exactly. I was like.. tippy toe dodge the puddles to start with then went what am I doing.. this is silly. And had great fun splashing. Now I have no excuses not run on rainy days. Lol

Welcome back from a fellow starter again. I've got stuck at Week 5 after yet another cold, but I have been out dancing tonight with just one coughing fit, so I going to face the treadmill tomorrow ๐Ÿ˜

welcome back and weโ€™re here to cheer you on! Lots of us are stop starters for all sorts of reasons. New trainers are a great motivator! I really hope you can find your running mojo because thatโ€™s what makes the difference between completing C25K and then carrying on with it- good luck!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
