Started week 5 yesterday in a more positive mindset. Enjoyed the 5 mins of running, 3 mins walking and like that each run this week is different.
Weather is mild here in Ireland for December so I'm enjoying not getting frozen or soaked!
Again the routine is thoroughly helping me stay on track. I don't let anything derail me and I'm already seeing the benefits!
Health wise I'm still undergoing evaluation. No answers until March and even then, I know there might not be any. I wish my body would make it a little clearer to me and to doctors as to what's going on. I thought that blood test would be a clue but my GP seems unbothered, even though it is unusual. Its the third unusual blood test I've had that in six months she's not bothered about. Not run of the mill stuff either. Don't really know what to do as she seems great otherwise. Maybe it's me.
I think all can do is to keep going with couch to 5k and look after myself as best I can. Trying not to think about it too much over the Christmas and enjoy myself. I'll just treat the symptoms for the next few months and see what happens in March.
Travelling next week so will be interesting to see if I can keep up the routine! Few good running routes around where I'm going so should be fine. Can't wait to finish up work for Christmas and go to see family!

🍏😩🤗 The medical waiting game is not easy! You are doing the right thing by getting out and running, keeping your body as fit as possible.. glad you are enjoying week 5….your new running routine is admirable & that discipline will get you through the program! Enjoy your forthcoming family time and if the run days get out of sync .. not to worry…an extra rest day here and there is fine.. it’s a special time of year!!
Running in new places is one of the nicest things to do. I never thought I’d be the sort of person to pack run kit whenever I’m away but it can be such a wonderful way of exploring and freshening up your runs too. Enjoy!
