I really did not want to go out today. Yesterday my knees had been a pain and I'd ordered new shoes πŸ‘ž. I thought about waiting till they arrived. I did get changed though and put on Steve Cram who said there are often days when you don't want to go. So I set off and guess what I did 25 mins . No stops, no walking. Straight off πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ. Yeah! Another one in the bag and just wait for new shoes now!

I'm a great believer in listening to your body - if it hurts, it is for a reason, If you just don't feel like running, that is different. Regarding shoes - get a gait analysis done in a reputable running shop. They are becoming increasingly rare in these days of big high street names buying every bit of competition up and then closing it or dumbing it down, but there are still some around. Ask local running clubs for recommendations. Lastly, good luck, and listen to your body.
