OK, hitting concrete is worse, much worse, I've done that and it wasn't a pretty sight what with all the blood, but that's another story ....
It was towards the end of this morning's Wk9; D1 x 30 min section and I wasn't even running, just attempting to tiptoe my way carefully across/through quagmire trying not to get my shoes covered in filth and clag. Nothing of concern until a delinquent branch came out of nowhere to take me flying to land, face plank in (guess what?) MUD! Muddy shoes, muddy jacket, muddy pretty near everything really .... certainly muddy me ☹
I'm OK, just bruised pride and, truth be told, a bit of a wracked shoulder but that'll be fine in a day or two. A good thing that will come out of this is an intention to focus on the two upcoming C25k Wk 9 runs, scheduled for this coming Monday and Wednesday. This passing incident won't stop me - I'm lovin' the C25k programme 🙂
