@Well that’s the “dreaded” W5 R3 in the books early doors this morning. Difference was this time around I’ve been looking forward to it. It’s certainly one of the pivotal points of the programme. Felt great and I had more in the tank at the finish too so bring on week 6. Not going to let that first run of the new week fool me like it did last time 😀

Ah yes, the “milestone W5R3” or the “magnificent W5R3”! That’s how I know it! An absolutely five star run! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The best run of the whole programme in my opinion.

It’s absolutely fantastic that it was a good one for you, especially seeing the change from before. I bet you’ll be smiling for days. As you say, week 6 can be a trickier one but you’re ready for it. The main thing is to keep it steady and hold on to that joy!

Haha. You are so right. First time around it was completing the run at the end of week 5 when I had the epiphany moment that I could actually do running and enjoy it. The body is standing up to it much better this time around but I think that’s because I understand more about stretching etc than I did last summer. 12 runs left 😊

Congratulations to you BlackCountryLee on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K as you know, many marathon runners look back on that run as thee run that got them eventually to run marathons, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran.

Cheers AlMorr! It’s my second time on the plan due to injury and illness laying me off for a few months back end of 2022 so I’m already conditioning the mind not to be complacent on Thursday when I start week 6 👍🏻😊
