After my injury, I'm now back to running full time and I'm still loving every minute of it. I'm currently doing 5-6k every other day. Going to give it another month or so, then start a 5k to 10k app.

This is still the best thing I've ever done and the month off i had to have made me realise I don't just love this, I need it!!!

Welcome back... good to see you recovered!

Maybe ease back a tad and vary the runs a little more. Sometimes a short run a middle distance and a lovely long, see where you get to, run can work, as well as a 5 or 6K every other day,

It shakes things up a bit ready for that 10K journey... and it is the relaxed longer slower runs which help increase stamina and strength and eventually distance and yes, speed:)

It is fun too, and maybe will add to the enjoyment you are quite obviously feeling. Well done you!

Thank you. Think I'm just enjoying that I'm back running again. I've just signed up for 'race for life', so want to make sure I can actually finish.

Congratulations on your return Carners1 ! Have to say I agree with Oldfloss that running 5-6k every other day won't be as helpful in developing your running as varying your run distance and pace would be.
