Many of you ask about shoes, so I felt compelled to tell you all of the *amazing* bargain I've happened across.
The New Balance 1080 is their top-of-the-range (most cushioned) neutral shoe and it's a favourite of mine. The latest version, the 1080 v12s typically retail at a eye-watering £160 , which I'd never pay. You can find extra-wide fits or strange colourways for around £100 online if you look around.
I always buy older models of shoes - it's a common strategy for experienced runners who tend to go through a few pairs or like to rotate.
So ... my local New Balance Outlet store at Cheshire Oaks, Ellesmere Port has the older NB1080 v11's for £50-58 !!! Their Black Friday price was £94 ... so this is a massive 'end-of-line' reduction that you won't find online - trust me, I've looked.
So I bought 2 pairs last night for a grand total of £102 - I really couldn't and still can't believe it.
If you're in the market for new shoes, give your local NB Outlet a call and try these for comfort - they're a great shoe at an unbelievable price.
