Drake saved the day! I repeat Drake saved the day. Downloaded Drake’s Take Care album circa 2011 and it did the job.
When I say did the job I mean my walking and running speed are basically the same 😅 none the less one step further to running 5K.
I remember this one time I went for a run and ended up at the pub because cba 😂😂 nothing like a cold glass of Pinot Grigio and cheesy pizza after running for 5 mins. I definitely earned it 😉
Not feeling as bad as the first run so here’s my happy picture!

Congratulations on another successful run! Lots of people’s run /walk speed is similar-sometimes even being faster walking. The motion is different though and that’s what you’re getting your body used to. The sooner you can forget about speed the better. This programme is all about time on your feet.
Enjoy your rest day! The third run of each week was always my favourite because of ticking off the whole week. It’s a great feeling! 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
The advice about not posting photos of your face is just that: advice for your own safety.
I tend to find interesting things to take photos of during the walk section of my runs. In the warmer months it's usually flowers. Sometimes it's a photo of my muddy legs and shoes.
Sometimes if there's something really interesting, and I'll even pause the run to take the photo. I did that last week with some deer in a field next to where I was running.
Sometimes I see something I want to take a photo of, but don't want to stop as I've got a nice rhythm going.
