the weather was kinder to me today …. I was apprehensive about running that extra 30sec but I must say I didn’t find it as hard as I thought . To be honest it was still challenging but the feeling at the end was worth it

Huge well done you! Slow and steady as you go and feeling that challenge does give such a feeling of euphoria after the run, doesn't it? As the runs get longer and after different little milestone markers it gets even stronger...

On you go, enjoy!

Just embrace each run each week, knowing they are building you up for the ones to come...

By the time you reach Week 6 + , your legs and your running body, ( if you are putting in some strength and stamina work on some rest days), will be tuned to the really lovely longer runs that follow. By that time, the legs know what to do, all you do , is let them do it and simply enjoy! x
