So having started 2nd time around for C25K on the 9th September 2022 and keeping everyone in formed. After several delays as a result of multiple colds and a large spell of bad cold weather in the middle I have today Graduated for the second time. I have got back to running for 30 minutes which was the aim as for the most of 2022 I struggled running for more than around 12 minutes without stopping. It is nearly 4 years since I did C25K the first time I have not achieve the distances and times I achieved that time including running 5k in the 30 mins although I have managed 4.3km this time round so not far off the 5k. Next target is to get back to running my local Parkrun and not just volunteering as I have been. I hope everyone is healthy and happy and had a good Christmas and a happy New Year. Stay running.

Fantastic news! It’s a shame we can’t give you a second badge 🏅🏅! Hope you’re doing some serious celebrating. Forget the distance-that doesn’t matter. You’ve done brilliantly.

Are you all set to consolidate like last time? That parkrun will feel amazing when you’re there. The link below is for the guide to post c25k running just in case you need it.

Thank you. I will probably do what I did before depends on how much I want to hear Laura’s voice as I would run same route so knew where my five minute warm up walk ended so would then run the 5 minute warm up part of the app thereby over time having the support of Laura for an extra 10 mins if running the warm down side as well. I did I think over 40 consolidation runs last time but looking for good weather and will attempt my Parkrun.

Excellent! If you enjoy a guided run, the Nike run club app is what I use now. Pretty cheesy at times but free and has loads of suitable runs for consolidating with. That would be an alternative to Laura, nice though she is!

Woop-woop!! Well done!!

I hope to be there alongside you fairly soon, but it all depends on how much energy I can muster. I'm back up to Week 7 again, but only running once or twice a week the last few weeks.

Celebrate, enjoy and set your sights on ParkRuns. You should be rightly proud of yourself 😀👍

Many thanks as you can see I also took my time this time round with only one or two runs a week and as a result of the weather and several colds one after the other it took 17 weeks including several blocks of no runs for two or three weeks but all done now. Good luck do the runs when in the right frame of mind that’s the best way. You will get there.

Exactly never had issues with the plan just knew body was not operating as it had previously so back on the 30 minute non stop running target achieved.

Well done and I remember you from last time round! I also re completed the programme in 2022 - has to be done!

yep it did as was having issues running for time. Not so efficient this time round as took time as a result of weather and colds but done now and one target reached running for 30 mins again so onwards and upwards next target 5k either lone running or Parkrunning.
