Doing ok

Hello everyone, I’ve been reading this forum a lot over the last couple of months and am now popping in to say hello as I ran for 30 minutes this morning. Only 2 more to go until I finish the course.

Without this forum I would certainly have gone too fast, not performed stretches and probably injured myself. I’m very pleased I found it and am amazed at my progress. Although I run slowly I feel strong.

Thank you all.

Hi Chickenears, I am happy that you found this forum very helpful for your runs as you didn't run too fast and have any injuries, congratulations on almost completing C25K, only 2 more runs until you graduate, good luck for your graduation run 🏃🏾.

Welcome, Chickenears , and well done on getting to week 9 of C25K!

Taking it slow and feeling strong is excellent, so much better than pushing to go as fast as you can, then ending up exhausted or even injured.

Looking forward to seeing your graduation post in a few days - happy running!

This is fantastic to read. It sounds like you’ve already found the program guide are are doing a brilliant job following the advice. Keep it steady and you’ll be graduating before you know it. Really good luck to you 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️

Thanks! I’m not far off my one year runniversary of starting couch to 5k and I’m hoping to complete a special run on that day. I need the weather to be nice and also I have to build up to a slightly longer distance again after a bit of time ticking over with short runs. It’s amazing how all the skills you learn in couch to 5k keep coming back! It’s such a great programme that really has had a massive influence on my life for the better. It’s so exciting to see other runners getting to the point of graduating and deciding where their runner’s legs will take them next. Keep us updated-we’re all rooting for you. 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️
