For my St Andrews Day 129th (not) parkrun 5K I ran on what I call "The ButtercupKid 5K trail", ButtercupKid was a runner about 2 or 3 years ago who inspired many on this forum with her running, she was Autistic as were her 2 children and husband as well, so for today's run, St Andrews Day, I ran on the same course that I dedicated to her, a bit misty but a nice run, time 34.25

Love this Alan. A lovely way to mark the day with fond thoughts.

I enjoyed my run this morning GTFC, it felt much much shorter than my run on Sunday, I had set out to run it in around 36 minutes as I thought my legs might have the after effects of that HM, however, they felt fine hence my time of 34.25.

Happy St Andrew’s Day to you. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. That sounds like a brilliant run. It’s foggy and cold here too so well done for getting out. I love the meaning behind the run.

Thanks MissUnderstanding, when I started the run it wasn't foggy at all, the sun was shining with a temperature of 4 C. but I could see that I was going to run into fog which I did, however, I soon ran back into sunshine and running around the loch I could see fog banks interspersing with the sun over the water, I saw 5 other runners, 4 going the opposite direction and one which I overtook running the same way.

Yes she wrote excellent poems and rhymes as well, especially around Christmas time, I emailed her around 6 months ago, she replied that she no longer runs but has happy memories running and especially the wonderful achievement she had on graduating from C25K with the excellent support from everyone on this forum.
