I completed week 1 last Thursday and did the first run of week 2 today.
Although I’m new to C25K, I’m already feeling some benefits to my physical, mental and emotional health. My energy levels have definitely increased and I’m simply feeling more positive about life.
Making time for myself and doing something to focus on me seems central to how I’m feeling. I’m usually so busy tending to others or something else, so doing C25K has allowed me to connect with a personal goal, and it feels great.
The treadmill is serving me well thus far but I know that going outside and running is something I am aiming for.
Thanks for the comments to my first post, which I found helpful, encouraging and supportive.

A super, positive post which absolutely endorses what we, as the Admin Team are always trying to share with all our runners here....
Mental as well as physical benefits, incredible valuable time for ourselves, to recharge, refresh and yes, relax, too.
If what is happening here with your runs, is impacting positively on your interaction with others too ! Wow!
Persevere with the TM, but, make no mistake, for many of us, the great outdoors is whole new world, literally. You may find when you take that step, your feeling of well-being , positivity and energy levels, are enhanced even more.
