What a run. Today I set my new personal best 6’50’’ average pace per kilometre.

great progress!

Remember though that your best development comes from running at a conversational pace

wow - that’s amazing! I’m on Wk8 and my average is around 8.2mins per km.

Thats a very good pace. Keep going. I have slightly increased the pace and changed my route to avoid steep inclines across 3 rivers with very low pedestrian bridges.

Well done on your progress. In terms of developing your running fitness though you'd do better to stay slower and add in the inclines.

Well done! You’re getting a good way through the programme now. Congratulations!

I just wonder whether focussing on pace is helpful? C25k is all about running for a specific time and it really doesn’t matter how far or fast you go as you run. There’s time for that after you’ve graduated and consolidated your achievement. You don’t want an injury from pushing too hard.

How does it feel when you’re running? You should to be able to hold a conversation as you’re running. Pretending to be on the phone is how I do that although I enjoyed my run so much today that I was singing a bit at one point!
