I’ve been doing C25K as practise since after lockdown, I’ve been getting knackered whenever doing any sport. Worried about doing Week 5 day 3. How has everyone else found it?

Worried about week 5 day 3.
Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.
If you are "knackered" then you are pushing too hard.
Counterintuitively, it is easy conversational pace running that builds your stamina and endurance, not fast running.
Say this sentence out loud to yourself "Am I going slow enough to enable me to speak this sentence in one out breath?" If you cannot, you are going too fast.
In respect of W5R5, you have assessed it incorrectly.........it will be your shortest workout since W3. All explained here healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5... includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Slow down, relax and enjoy your journey.
I can only echo the advice given by IannodaTruffe
Pace is the key here !
And do read the post in the link from iannodatruffe regarding week 5.
There really is nothing to fear , its one of the best weeks in the program 😁
don’t overthink it, if you have completed all the other runs you are ready, despite what your head might say, just take it steady, if you find it a bit difficult part way through just break it down in your head and think about reaching the next lamppost/tree rather than think about running for another 10 mins, and when you get to that post look for the next one . When you complete it it’s a great feeling of achievement and makes you realise you actually can do this. Wk 6 r1 often feels tougher for some reason even though it’s not running as long as 20mins!
ok, thanks guys
Yep at the time it seemed a big step up, but I had followed the programme and got from being knackered week 1/1 to week 5 so I was trusting the programme. Yay it was just the best experience because it was the first time in my life I thought, gosh I can run, not just to the bus stop! It just got better and better after week 5.
