A month break

I've recently had around 4 weeks off due to the hot weather and working at the commonwealth games. I skipped back to week 5 as I didn't want to push myself too hard and I'm now on the dreaded wk5 r3. I remember how elated I was but that seems soooo long ago

any tips?

What’s dreaded about it? It’s just the next step in the programme and you’re ready for it. Just keep it slow and steady and you’ll have a great run.

Did you do the run before your break? If you’ve already completed it once, there’s absolutely no reason to think you can’t do it again!

Yes I have done it before but I did find it very hard. I have found the first two runs of week 5 much harder this time than last. Hopefully I'll be ok

Well done on getting back to it.

Referring to a run as "dreaded" doesn't help you or anyone reading your post to prepare a positive attitude to what is just another run in the programme.
