Didn't think it was possible!

I started the Couch to 5K last September never having ran before. I stuck with the programme and completed the challenge on Christmas Eve.

I have now discovered Parkruns and have completed 12 runs. Through Parkrun I accepted the Running Down Dementia challenge. I ran 80k in the months of June and July and raised a wonderful £555.00 for Dementia Research.

A year ago I wouldn't have thought I would have been capable of running down the road let alone raise money for charity too.

I am planning a 13k run in October for Mind. It feels great to give something back.

My message is, don't doubt yourself, you may just surprise yourself!
