Broken foot...AAHH!!!!

I completed C25K about two months ago and have been going well, really enjoying something I thought I wouldn't, until now! I had an accident at work (I'm a postie) and crushed my foot under the postie bike - Spiral fracture of the 2nd metatarsal of my left foot. Needless to say I cant do any running for at least 6 weeks. At what point should I be looking at recommencing my C25K journey.

Broken bones and running 😬, I'd most definitely recommend popping to the drs and getting checked before looking at running again, bones and feet are so fragile get yourself checked 👍

That is tough. You need to be pain free before recommencing and preferably after being given the okay to run by a medic.

All any of us can do after a lay off is to go out for a gentle run and see what we can comfortably manage, then use C25k or something similar to rebuild stamina and resistance to injury.

Take care and I wish you a quick recovery.

Ouch! Heal well… consult those that help you heal, especially the physio, they will get you back at the right time and in the correct doses. Sadly, we cannot really help with these things, but we can be ready to cheer you along when you’re on the comeback trail.
