I was told after major surgery that I would never be able to run but never thought this a problem as it's not something I'd ever wanted to do. 6 years later I decided to do the C25k!I started tentatively thinking I might just do the first few weeks and see how it goes. Last week I completed it and yesterday went out for a run with my son, something I never would have thought possible. All I would say is if you're nervous about starting then don't be. go at you're own pace and follow the programme, it works!
completed what a feeling : I was told after... - Couch to 5K
completed what a feeling
Brilliantly well done! And what a lovely way to celebrate by running with your son.
It's funny how we don't want to do something until we're told we can't! Many years ago my husband told me I wouldn't be able to learn to dive as I've never been confident in water - but I now have my PADI certificate! 😂
That's brilliant! Well done. Was lovely running with my son as he's 15 and it gave us something to do together.
Congratulations on your graduation!😁👍🎉🎉🎉
I have pinned on your shiny new Graduate badge 😎
Take some time to have a read of this post for future ideas .

Happy running!
Many congratulations to you and well done 🎈🥳👏👍 That must have tasted so sweet after being told you wouldn’t run again!
Enjoy your success and future runs 😍
Congratulations! 🎉🏆 It's an awesome programme isn't it. Good job you didn't take your doctor's advice, otherwise you would be far less fit and healthy than you are!
Great news 👍👍 You must feel wonderful. 🥳
Congratulations - this is just lovely to read - well done to you and you’re right - it’s all about going at your own pace. Happy running 🏃🏽♀️
