Started at Easter so it’s been quite a long 9 weeks ;-)

….but I have done it! Finished this evening even though both Strava and the app got turned off when I took out my earbuds due to the wind. I seem to have run around 35 minutes because of this, so no wonder I was doing my best beetroot impression when I got home.

I cannot fathom the magic involved to get an overweight, weak-ankled 50 yr old this active after about 30 years of a concerted effort to remain sedentary but it really works!

Looking forward to doing a parkrun sometime soon.

I run for health and happiness so not too bothered about the stats but I am intrigued to see my pace has gone from a 15.5 min mile (dead snail) to 12.5 min mile (doddery snail).

Thanks go out to all the encouragers on this forum. You really did help :-)

Got myself this :-) Chose the pot of gold because I am simultaneously doing Samarathon this month raising money for the Samaritans.
