Wk 1 completed (again 😅)

Ready to continue on to week 2. I feel very different about C25K this time around. When I completed it the first time (lockdown 2020) I was very focused on ‘just getting to the end’ and ‘completing’ it. Mostly because part of me didn’t quite believe it would be possible, all those negative little voices in my head reminded me I was/am an overweight, middle aged woman who has always been unfit and definitely not sporty. But I did it and I fell in love with the feeling that running gave me.

So this time is different, the doubt isn’t there and neither is the pressure to ‘get to the end’. There is no ‘end’. I just want to be able to run. For it to be part of my life, part of who I am. No deadlines, no guilt if I have an off day, no pressure to be better, faster, further (for now at least). Just one run at a time.

Come on week 2, I’m ready for you!

I liked the line 'there is no end'. What a great mindset to restart the programme 👏
