Week 4 run 3 completed but that was a very up and down week. Run 1 was a challenge to say the least but after all the good advice and suggestions from you lovely people I set out on run 2. Yes, you were right I could and did run slower, concentrated on breathing and keeping it slow and steady, my mantra was don't attack the hill just run it and guess what? Run 2 completed with no problems. Then I had to take a 3 day break because of ankle pain (& the hot weather) back out today running in the rain (fast becoming my favourite thing) and run 3 done with no problems. I'm undecided whether to move straight on to week 5 or whether to repeat week 4. See how I feel after a couple days break and see how the ankles are tomorrow.

Well done on completing week 4.I would suggest as you completed week 4 then you are ready for week 5.
No need to keep repeating weeks you have already done .
The progression of the program is well tried and tested and it works !
Just follow the same advice and keep the runs slow 😁

Well done I’m on a similar track myself but I’d always say listen to your body . And that the main thing is you are out 3 times a week exercising and if you can keep that up the future is bright ! Go girl !
