Wk 3 run 1

There is a pattern forming here that our runs are postponed a few days due to various reasons but we are getting out there and doing it :) It was just too hot here to run over the last few days and today is much cooler and cloudy. I will 'fess up to thinking that I could skip today's run but I'd told my son that we were running so had committed so headed out. I wasn't looking forward to running for 3 minutes but it went quickly, especially the 2nd 3 minute run and we are getting along our route much faster now. It was lovely running through the forest in a light rain, the scent of honeysuckle was fabulous and because we run in the early morning, the rabbits were out and a plethora of birds. It really does improve the mood running in the countryside. Run 2 on Monday :)

Well done with your progress! And it's great to run with your son , and as you say , promising him you would run today actually got you out of the door and sometimes that can be the hardest part 😁

Yes the hardest part of running or any exercise come to that is to get yourself up, dressed & out through the door x
