Alternating with strength training on non-running days – eccentric heel drops for achilles and knee strengthening exercises. Feeling pretty good – a day off today after running 20 minutes yesterday. Today hardly any stiffness for the first time. While running I do notice various twinges – achilles.. knee.. hip.. other knee, and so on but they come and go while I am running and nothing too bad at the moment. I will keep monitoring as I run; keeping aware and knowing when it’s time to take a break is important. I am planning to do a week at a time, and take a few days break if I feel I need it at the end of a week. Determined to finish this time, without ending up on the injury couch! Onward to wk 6...

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾
