W3r3 done feeling niggly knees...

Well I got through that one, although mind goes to niggly knees, so knocks my confidence.

I believe I'm correct in thinking not to worry too much about minor knee ache niggles and just carry on and see how it goes as wearing knee supports, and been taking a supplement. I think some weight loss and knee strengthening is in order though.

Sue's (Slinkys) left knee clicked and gave way a little a few moments into a run but soon recovered, so she's contemplating seeing a chiropractor for some manipulation...😊

You can't beat regular knee strengthening exercises, Dave, such as these linked to in the guide to the plan. nhs.uk/Live-well/exercise/r...

A knee brace will provide support, but it is far better if that support is done by strengthened knee muscles.

Just take it steady.

Good going, well done to you both on finishing week 3. Hope Sue's knee and your aches aren't bad now.

Generally aches are normal since not used to the exercise and strength exercises will help a lot. Slow and steady and be sure to stop if it becomes painful. Sometimes a bit of ice on the area after stretching can help (I used bag of frozen peas in a tea towel to help with my aches early on).
