Morning was a bit chaotic and decided to leave the run until tonight instead so I'd be a bit more settled than rushed. Almost no traffic so not the usual 5-10 mins waiting before dancing between the cars on my way to my jogging spot. It was eerily quiet at this time, only passing one walker on the way until zooooom!! Some dude rocketed past as if I was going backwards. Before this would have knocked me off my stride but stayed in my own wee zone, plodding along thinking... This is pretty cool, 2 consecutive runs without intervals. That sneaked up pretty quick.
Had a thought during my cool down ... Think this is actually week 10 since starting the programme. I'd probably be on the injury couch or just lost the motivation if I hadn't found my way here in the meantime. So pleased at another completed run and to having an inspirational and informative bunch here.
P.S. if you were out running along floodgates tonight and zoomed past someone plodding along in track bottoms at a snail pace (twice) ... I'm catching you next year 😁

Well done completing week 7 run 1Your now on the fun runs 😁
I met several runners yesterday while I was out on a long run , as it happened they were all going the opposite way so didn't overtake me but I guessed they all had a pace higher than mine , was I bothered ? No, as they were all at least 30 years younger 🤣
