Got to Week 7 Run 2, then stopped...

Hi all

I got up to week 7 run 2 at the end of March, and since then haven't been on a run due to all sorts of reasons. I'm keen to get going again, but not sure where I should start. Shall I go back to Week 5 Run 1 and see how I get on? Or should I go further back? Thanks in advance.

You will not loose too much fitness in the first 2 weeks of not running, after that it will be gradual .Before deciding where to pick up again I would go out for a no pressure gentle jog and just see how much you can comfortably do without pushing yourself and then see where that actually fits in with the program .

Good luck and well done deciding to pick it up again

Cheers, that's sound advice. I'll let you know how I get on!

Another vote for just a run, no pressure, taking it easy and stopping if/when about to exceed 25 minutes.
