MISSED WEEK

So missed a whole week this week, due being an exceptionally busy week & mix of bad weather, I’m on WK8R3, the week before I completed WK8R2, having missed R3 due a bad cold, so my plan is start WK8R1 tomorrow again & I am determined to complete it this week to move onto the final week of W9 & get this bad boy done, once & for all & going forward maintain consistent running 3 x pwk, wish my luck peeps

As stated in the guide to the plan, you lose no significant condition in the first two weeks of non running. After that loss of condition is gradual.

All any of us can do after a lay off is to go out for a gentle run and see what we can comfortably manage, then use C25k or something similar to rebuild stamina and resistance to injury.

It will be my third time at WK8, so I have run for 28mins 4 times now, so I think I’ll be ok starting at WK8R1 again, don’t want go backwards, determinated to get it done this week then onto final week of 9 🤞🏻

I think you could move straight on to W9 if you wanted to.

Why not do 28 minutes, then if you still feel good, move onto 30 minutes.

Good idea, yes I think your right, on the basis I’ve already run 4 x 28 min runs already, I’ll move straight onto WK9R1 tomorrow

We all miss a week from time to time and as Ian says, it doesn't mean you lose fitness. You can do week 8 or 9, whichever you prefer. You've got this!
