No, I haven't broken out of jail, but I have just got out for a run after coming down with covid. After isolating for 10 days, it feels a bit like getting out of jail 🏃♀️I didn't even mind that it was raining!
Not sure where it fits on the program, but I decided to run for 7 minutes twice, and a final minute to bring it up to 15 minutes of running.
So nice to see even more signs of spring 🌱

I am just into day 3 of my brush with Covid. I hope it hasn’t taken too much out of you. I am looking longingly at the beautiful sunshine outside. Signs of spring. 🙂
Hi BC, it's been strange. I didn't feel really ill, but I tested positive right until day 9, just felt really washed out and too tired to do anything. That's only just going. Yesterday there was no way I wanted to run. Today I thought I could manage it 🤷Hope you are coping ok with it?
Chesty cough from day 1. I have felt better since then day by day…I suspect paracetamol is taking the edge off it. I keep falling asleep though! Just like a normal chest cold really. People say that it would be legal to go out…but there is no way I want to pass this on. I will just have to be a patient patient!!🙂
Yes, I've cleared away lots of old leaves, and it's lovely to see the shoots that were hiding under them. It's so good to get out again. (The rain eased off and it had almost stopped for my cool down walk - I had my cap on, it only comes out when it rains!)
Well that's an interesting report! I seem to have hit upon the sort of return run they suggest, and I'll take on board what they say about ramping up - and not be tempted to just jump straight back into my program. Thank you!
Still struggling at moment, been told by prosthetist foot not suitable for running, due to go back next week to see another prothetist see what happens then, still keeping fit on revamp course from Limbpower and getting walks in. Not giving up.
