Hello and welcome to the program and the forum .Have you read the program guide ?

healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

It's full of useful information to help you through the program .

Have you actually started the program yet ?

If so how much have you done ?

Welcome to the forum.

Motivation is something that has to come from you.

Why are you considering doing C25k?

Are those reasons not enough to keep you running, to improve your mental and physical health and statistically reduce your risk of a whole host of serious medical conditions?

We can offer advice and support.......we will.......but we can't make you do something you don't want to do.

This very simple training programme has changed the lives of millions of people over the last 25 years. You can be one of them, but only if you really want to do it.

Once you get started, you may find, like very many of us here, that you actually enjoy this plan and that you can't wait to get out for the next run.

Read the guide linked to by Instructor57 and take the first steps. Keep us posted and we will keep you running.

What, I wonder, has motivated you in the past to do and stick with something new? It will be different for all of us. For me it was proving to myself that I could do it, when I hated running for its own sake....good luck

Why? What's the problem? Have you started C25K yet? Or are you stuck?

Where are you up to in the program?

Motivation comes and goes. What's much more important is to create a routine, a habit, so that even when you don't quite feel like it, you still get it done.

I would say that discipline is more important than motivation at this point. The motivation to make changes has brought you here, now you need to action that. Otherwise it's too easy to think-'I don't want to go today, I've lost motivation'. The trick is to have the discipline to go as planned, even if you are reluctant.Good luck!
