I’ve read numerous posts from experienced grads pre warning people to watch out for W6 R1 as it often catches people out.
Does anyone know specifically what to look out for though?

It is not unusual for those doing week 6 run 1 to start too fast !
Having recently completed their first continuous run of 20 minutes it is easy to feel invincible and feel that 5, 8 and another 5 minute run will be easy whereas in reality pacing will be crucial.
Tell your friend to take it slowly! 😉
