I felt like this was the hardest run to date. I've never felt like giving up before but I came close this morning. It's done now time for a before r3

Congratulations on your progress !The first 2 runs in week 6 often catch people out with going back to intervals so well done on completing them .

Well done.

If it is tough, just slow down.

Can you speak aloud, clear, ungasping sentences as you run?.........if not, you are going too fast.

An easy conversational pace is the most effective to build your stamina and endurance........faster is not necessarily better.

You may find distraction helpful, so that the last things you think about are time and the physicality of running. If music doesn't do it, try podcasts or audiobooks. I used to give myself a running commentary on everything that I could see, hear, feel and smell as I ran, in full florid sentences.

Good advice. As these runs are now getting longer I'll try listening to a bit of music.
