Week 7 Run 2

Good morning all

This morning I completed run 2 of week 7. As I started out another (I would say far more experienced and fitter than me) runner waved as he ran passed me, I waved back. On my return he passed me again this time he gave me the thumbs up and I was so chuffed. I felt he’d really seen me (and my struggle) and his small gesture encouraged me to continue running to the end.

Thank you to all runners who encourage others on this forum and outside on the ground, it really does help.

Oh and this was my view this morning, I am incredibly lucky living where I do.

Welcome back to the forum.

If you are struggling then you probably need to slow down.

Can you speak aloud, clear, ungasping sentences as you run?.........if not, you are going too fast.

An easy conversational pace is the most effective to build your stamina and endurance........faster is not necessarily better.

Congratulations on your progress !And what a lovely picture 👍

It certainly looks a nice place to run .

It's good you were acknowledged by another runner, it certainly helps with the motivation , keep it up and enjoy the rest of the program !
