Today was a wet one but I was determined not to let the weather put me off I do live in England after all. Poppy my little dog is featured for two reasons one to show how loyal and wet she was. Even after our run she was up and ready when she thought I was going out again. And two because this mornings run was interrupted by a very rude elderly man who somehow seemed to think it was my fault he couldn’t control his young over excited golden retriever. I saw him as I entered the bottom field to do my last 10 minutes. "Hoy watch your dog its upsetting mine" he said 🤷‍♀️ She is tiny she was on a short lead and I was giving him a wide berth . "She is on the lead no where near your dog, what’s your problem" I shouted back. He went on shouting at me as he turned and made his way back to the entrance. I’m afraid to say I shouted after him to “get a life” sorry everyone I was furious. BUT you will be pleased to hear I did my shouting back in one breath without being breathless 😂 so my pace and breathing is all fine

That is hilarious !...... At least we know you are not running too fast!.... On your next run take the number of the local dog trainer for the elderly gentleman and say this may be of a help to you sir!

Nice way to test your running pace. Bet he thought you'd be out of breath. He clearly hasn't read this forum!

I totally get this!! My dog is often the one bugging runners, so I was expecting that to be the problem (she loves people and thinks it's particularly exciting when they're bombing along). But the best bit is that you had plenty of puff to shout back at him. Old ***.

Hahaha. Great pace Poppdog! Perfectly tested by an ignorant man. You wouldn’t have been able to shout at him in week 1!

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Brilliant.
