been running for 31 weeks now got as far as week 7.....but last week decided to start again from being. ...my buttock hip and knee are painful feels like it has been twisted. ...also feels like got cramp all down the side. ..feeling down because I am afraid to run.....how long should I not run for?

The guide gives advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration, dealing with injury and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Wait until pain free before running. If this persists then you really do need to consult either your GP or a physio.
Please don't run with the pain !Give yourself a few days off and see if the pain goes.
If it dosent then it would consult professional advice from either your doctor or a sports physio

Something to check. When running, are you landing on your heel or on the middle of the foot?
