Chuffed to bits! weโ€™ve finished week one, we are all still keen and having fun, there were lots of people to run round in the park today and lots of dogs for my friends dog to bark at during the warm up walk, once we started running she trotted along behind.

Bring on week two ๐Ÿ˜€

Happy weekend all

So pleased you are doing this. I think repeating C25K is a great thing and Iโ€™m on my third go now at week 3! Enjoy it!

Thank you, itโ€™s because a friend at work was saying she wishes she could run like me, weโ€™ve been pootling along all summer running less and less, so encouraging a friend and pushing myself a little is working well

Hey you two. Lovely to read your re-run adventures ๐Ÿ˜Š. Iโ€™ve been enjoying rerunning C25K with my daughter Dabby-dot and week 8 is coming up. She had to finish week 7 without me this morning as Iโ€™m streaming with a cold (not COVID) and so walked the dog as she ran. Sheโ€™s doing brilliantly. You definitely approach it in a more relaxed way when youโ€™ve been running a while. Enjoy ๐Ÿ˜Š

It really is fun, my friend just wants to run further and further but sticking her to the programme, we are so stuck for staff i canโ€™t have her injuring herself and being off ๐Ÿ˜‚ but seriously itโ€™s speeding us up and giving her encouragement

So happy to know that you are enjoying doing C25K for a second time, it should be easier for you than the first time was, enjoy ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿพ

Hi Al, it is easier and a lot faster, we are really enjoying running with a friend

I have now got a friend who takes me by car to a parkrun, he's even thinking of doing what we call "parkrun tours" going to a different parkrun each week, I ran run 3 of weeks 5,6,8 and 9 of C25K with him recently, he thanked me for running with him.

Excellent W&S. if everyone introduced just one person to C25k, what a healthy nation we would become. Sounds like win win running with your colleague.

You are right there Dexy, thereโ€™s a new guy at work and heโ€™s on week 7 but doesnโ€™t live close enough to run with us after work

Well done all of you! Itโ€™s a great way of revisiting C25K isnโ€™t it- youโ€™ll be able to feed off each other as you go. And you have a dog to keep you company!

SueAppleRunGraduate in reply to Oldgirlruns

Feed off each other! yes we do, we talk all the way round too which is great as the time flies, and the little gig just trots along behind then apparently sleeps all day

Well done both and dog! Glad to hear C25k is still enjoyable and uplifting no matter how many times you repeat it.Worth doing it again just to experience the joy!

Best wishes โ˜บ๏ธ

Thanks and yes, seeing the joy of someone else realising they too can run is great

Great! I did my second run of week 1 today, had two rest days in between for the hip, but it's been all right today. My problem is I want to keep going, but I have to rein myself in and slow down when Laura tells me to. Slow and steady, that's the way :)

Yes thatโ€™s the important bit, I wanted to run today but it was a rest day so i went directly a walk instead
