It is 18 months since I completed the C25K course... and I have FINALLY managed a 5k in under 30 minutes...

I must have done about 40 5k runs in the last 18 months, all of them somewhere between 31 and 37 minutes... to finally get a 28m10s run feels brilliant!

Well done on your sub 30 5k ! And thank you for posting this , it's good for any new runner or graduates to appreciate the patience and times scale needed 👍

I can't tell you how delighted I am to be seeing this, both because of your achievement and also the inspiration it's given me as a recent graduate still 'running' at a pace of 11-ish and thinking will I never achieve a sub-30 minute 5k. Now there is hope!!

A big THANK YOU 👍🏃👍

Well done you. That's great perseverance and an inspiration to me to keep working on it.
