Hello fellow runners!!😊

Its been quiet a while since my last post, but I'm still in the game as it were.....this morning I completed my fastest 5k to date, still slow and steady you understand, but a proud moment none the less. On my circular route I usually see the occasional runner, we give each other a wide berth and a 'good morning' as you do...today a young man was running towards me, he stepped on the grass verge and offered me the biggest sunny smile as we passed, which I returned, with my usual greeting 😊 I carried on up the hill.....reached the top and rounded the curve.....5 minutes (maybe tenπŸ€·β€β™€οΈ) later there he is again, having presumably completed the rest of the circular route!..Still stepping onto the grass verge, still a great big sunny smile, and another 'good morning'....well, I thought, he's twice as fast as me...and probably half my age, but by gum he's enjoying his run! It put me in an even better mood than running normally does on its own......photo taken (slightly wobbly)...near the highest point of todays run.....

Just wanted to share.....Happy running everyone πŸ˜ŠπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒ
