Super run today....

I've been struggling a bit lately, the HM plan has ramped up the distances and I've just not felt up to it, was even considering scratching the race...then I had a great run today, and my confidence is back!

It was 4 miles, I did my first session with Coach Bennett on NRC, and found it strangely compulsive, I couldn't wait to hear what he would say next!!

Some of you will remember I have been taking care of a herd of moo moos for the Cows About Cambridge installation, as I ran up to one of my girls there was a rather strange chap cuddling her and holding an umbrella over her...it really did look most odd! As I got closer I could see he had come out in the pouring rain to mend an injured ear and was keeping the rain off her while the plaster dried! Aww bless!!

It was a super run today, I ran all of it, I didn't need any walk breaks, it was easy...I love the rain and I got a right good soaking!

Don't you just love it when it all comes together, makes up for the naff ones!

Ah sounds brilliant! And hug a cow 🐄 day, why not?! Even if it wasn’t really a hug. What a great run, 4 miles is amazing, and the rain ☔️ can be so exhilarating 😊🏃‍♀️🤩.
