I can honestly not believe this is me writing this post. I started my journey on 1 March and although it has taken me longer( I’m no spring chicken) I can honestly say it has been one of the best things I have ever done. I want to thank everyone for the support and knowledge that has been passed on from helping with an injury to tips about gait analysis and shoes - the slow jogging video made all the difference to me- and just reading inspirational stories that have spurred me and my 61 year old legs onwards.
Need help with what you do next now😂😂

Many congratulations Lola-bear on completing c25k! It also took me longer than the 9 weeks to complete as I had to keep stopping due to injury at the beginning but the main thing is you've now done it. They suggest doing 3 weeks of 30 minute consolidation runs 3 times a week next so can you just enjoy this level you've reached for the time being without having to continuously push yourself.🤗🥳💪
Congratulations, am over the moon for you, doesn’t matter how long it takes, you set the goal and you did it! Well done, hope I can do the same as it does make a difference, I have 62year old legs, as my Mum used to say you are never too old to try anything! I have just started W4R1 today and it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Keep going now to the next target and goal! By the way you look fantastic!
Ahh bless you thank you, I have just said the same to my 3 daughters never let age be a barrier.Well done you hopefully you’re enjoying the plan and yes go at your own pace I had to stop completely for a month with a heel problem but it was the right thing to do. I am mostly looking forward to doing a park run.
Enjoy your journey and I shall look forward to hearing about your graduation.
Fingers crossed! I used to be a sprinter in my youth and I still do have that in my brain and start running too quick and I then remember at my age I can’t do that!
Yay! Fantastic! I remember how great it feels. After a few more weeks of consolidating the 30 minutes and then starting to run a little more, (10% more each week) I was able to actually run 5k and have recently completed my first proper Parkrun. I would recommend that as a goal. Well done you. 👏👏
Congrats to you!!! I'm about to do W9R2 today, and just as excited as you are. (I started on May 31st.) It feels unbelievable doesn't it? Being able to run for 30 minutes straight...
As for what to do next I've also been investigating that, and for now I'm probably going to keep adding blocks of 5 minutes to my run until I can do a full hour. Alternatively, you could try to up the pace a little to cover more distance in the 30 minutes or set yourself a distance target instead of a time target. There are many options!
Indeed it does feel amazing and thanks for the advice, I am going to up my pace when the weather cools down then try a park run.Happy running Look forward to hearing about your graduation 😀
Congratulations 👏 👏 All of you who go before us are an inspiration to keep going. Well done. In the words of Jo Whiley 'you're a runner now' Well done. 🎉
Thank you I still can’t quite believe it but totally agree I have definitely been helped and encouraged by all the stories on here.If I can do it truly anyone can.
Congratulations graduating from C25K, well done, to get your graduation badge and the word GRADUATE 🎓 next to your username follow the link of IannodaTruffe, now go and celebrate your wonderful achievement 🏃🏾 👍 🎓
Congratulations and well done, the feeling is amazing and I’m still smiling following graduation 2 weeks ago 🙂 someone put a post on here (sorry I forget who) with a great suggestion! They were going to change trainers (as in the C25K commentators) on the app and do a week with each of the others. I completed with Laura but have since re-ran the last week with Sanjeev, I’m now on with Jo Wiley and it’s working great! Enjoy running 🏃🏾♀️ 😀
